Educating the Mind, Body, and Soul

TV, music, Internet, movies…all are saturating our youth with images and a manner of thinking that is contrary to our Faith. Popular culture – on all fronts – teaches our children how to dress, how to date, how to socialize; and in general, forms them to live a life not reflective of the teachings of our Lord.

At Faustina Academy, we strive to teach our children purity, modesty, charity, love of neighbor, and how to form and maintain God-centered relationships.

As Parents, you are the primary educators of your children, but today’s youth need to be reassured that it’s not just “Mom and Dad”.

At Faustina Academy, we believe that our Academy is not only expected, but obligated to reinforce these values and traditions you model at home.

Most schools serve thousands of children with academics. Due to these schools’ size and number enrolled, by necessity, their academics target the middle of the scale, i.e., the curriculum is merely maintained at grade-level.

However, as an Independent school, we can provide a much more challenging curriculum; and are able to research and select our own text books with the goal of preparing the students for any school they might choose to attend after FAUSTINA.

Furthermore, the curriculum is deliberately designed to challenge the mind to think critically, speak effectively, to write proficiently, and, most importantly, to learn – and appreciate – their Faith more fully so that they can achieve what we are all called to do – be Imitators of Christ.

With strong academics and discipline of mind and body as the foundation, we desire to make it conducive for the students to put into action his or her faith. We will all become involved by being an active part of the Pro-life group in Dallas, by praying for the unborn; by helping those less fortunate; and by visiting nursing homes.
