Rooted in the Truths of our Faith and drawn from the Baltimore Catechism, our MISSION is to know, love and serve God in order to spend eternity with Him in Heaven.
Faustina Academy stands as a testament to what can happen when faith, vision, and community come together. Since its founding, the school has been under the steady leadership of its principal, who has been present since the very beginning—shaping, guiding, and nurturing the mission of the Academy with unwavering dedication.
The idea for Faustina Academy was born from a shared desire among a group of families and educators in Irving, Texas. They envisioned a school that would not only offer academic excellence but also provide students with strong moral formation and religious instruction rooted in the Catholic tradition. These founders believed deeply that parents have a sacred duty to educate their children not just intellectually, but spiritually and morally as well.
On March 30, 2003, a community meeting was held at Northlake College to present this vision and invite others to join the effort. The response was inspiring. Many courageous families stepped forward, offering financial support and volunteer time to make the dream a reality.
That dream became a reality on August 25, 2003—Saint Faustina’s birthday—when Faustina Academy officially opened its doors with thirty-nine students. Since then, the school has grown steadily, grounded in the same principles and ideals that inspired its founding.
Faustina Academy is a private and independent school. While it embraces and upholds the teachings and values of the Catholic faith, it is not affiliated with any parish, church, or the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas. As such, it does not offer sacramental preparation, and students receive the sacraments through their home parishes. In full accordance with Canon Law 803.3, Faustina Academy does not bear the official title of “Catholic School” and does not represent itself as such.
The Academy is proud to be a member of the National Association of Private Catholic and Independent Schools and remains deeply committed to forming students who are intellectually prepared, morally grounded, and spiritually alive.
